New Leader Info

Thank you for volunteering to be a Leader of the Pack!

Getting Started

1. If you are already connected to Scoutbook as a parent, find and remember your BSA ID

If you don't have a Scoutbook account yet, skip to step 2.

1. • Login to Scoutbook, then click on the following link

   • https://scoutbook.scouting.org/mobile/dashboard/admin/editprofile.asp

   • Scroll Down and record your BSA ID

2. Log in or register for an account at https://my.scouting.org/

   • Verify that your BSA ID (Member ID) is the same as in Scoutbook.  Remember this number:  https://my.scouting.org/tools/my-profile

   • Take the Youth Protection Training (~75 minutes)  - https://training.scouting.org/learning-plans/1179 - print and save your certificate

   • Take the training specific to your volunteer position (1-2 Hours) - https://training.scouting.org/programs/1

3. Register as a Leader in our Pack, and pay the registration fee

   • Go to the registration site and register as a new Leader in Pack 9060

Make sure to fill in the following information based on the info above

• BSA ID

• Youth Protection Training Date

3. • Submit a request to treasurer@pack9060.org to have your registration fee reimbursed to your Scout Account

4. Go to the Scout Shop to get outfitted with a uniform shirt, and the necessary patches for your volunteer position

5. Strongly consider registering for the University of Scouting (HIGHLY Recommended) and attend sessions related to your volunteer position.

   • Check https://scoutingevent.com/250 and search for Univerity of Scouting

   • Submit a request to treasurer@pack9060.org to have your registration fee reimbursed

Once all of this is complete, please let the Committee Chair (cchair@pack9060.org) and Cubmaster (cubmaster@pack9060.org) know.
